Wind Turbines, Onshore to Deep Water

Ming Yang builds onshore, offshore and floating wind platforms — from 5 MW machines for inland sites to an 18.5 MW offshore turbine carrying a 260-metre rotor. Hybrid-drive technology, modular design and local manufacturing keep bringing the cost of clean power down.

A larger rotor captures more energy from the same site. That means fewer turbines, fewer foundations and fewer vessel movements for the same output — lower project cost and lower lifetime emissions per megawatt-hour, from a single design decision.

Product spotlight

MYSE 18.5-260

Our 18.5 MW offshore platform carries a 260-metre rotor and is designed for a 35-year service life. Fewer, larger turbines cut balance-of-system costs and reduce the steel, concrete and installation work a project needs for every megawatt installed.
